  2. The famous successor of BMW M1 will soon see the light of the day as 2016 BMW M8 model. With the new design and improvements it will draw a huge attention.

  3. Changes and Exterior Design The brand new 2016 BMW M8 will ride on a platform of the i8. The body will be made of light materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber, magnesium and it will weight around 2760 pounds.

  4. It will be more aerodynamic and will show better performance and speed. When it comes to external appearance, it will have long hood, large air intakes and thin headlights which will be equipped with laser-light technology.

  5. The whole front part will look very aggressive and powerful. On the rear end there will be a diffuser which will help it to be stable at high speeds. All in all, it will be elegant and sporty in the same time.

  6. Interior Design and Features As far as the interior of 2016 BMW M8 is concerned, it will definitively appear with luxurious and modern cabin. The seats will be comfortable and most likely upholstered in high quality leather.

  7. Since it is will be able to go 200 mph, it will be provided with many safety systems. It will have cruise control, ABS, camera, steering wheel with controls, information display in the center of the console and we can expect many other features which we’ll find out after automaker’s final announcement.

  8. 2016 BMW M8 Engine and Horsepower 2016 BMW M8 will have under the hood a 4.4-liter direct-injected twin-turbocharged V-8 engine which will be able to deliver around 600-650 horsepower.

  9. It will be paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This powerful engine will be capable to reach the acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in only 3 seconds which is pretty impressive. It will be more fuel efficient as well.

  10. Release Date and Price It is said that 2016 BMW M8 should appear on the market sometime in 2016, but it is not officially confirmed. As for its price, according to some rumors, it will, most likely, be around $330,000. The main competitors will be Audi R8 and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
