  2. There are a lot number of places where wines are made in Connecticut; but not all these places are considered as great wineries. I conducted a research on several wineries around Connecticut and I came up with some top best wineries as described below, which I ranked them based on people’s view during my research. However, you can add yours if you think it worth it.

  3. Hopkins Hopkins is located near a lake with a very big tasting room, where wines are made and kept. The setting of the barn is awesome; and one of the things that make Hopkins special is that, they usually and frequently conduct events at the barns.

  4. There, you can get a little space to enjoy yourself for refreshments and lots of stuffs are sold there as well.

  5. Jonathan Edwards’ winery This winery is located off Rt. 95 in southeast Connecticut. It is a great place to make wines and the wines produced in that place are always considered among the best wines that have the most qualities a good wine should have such as: great taste, beauty, affordable, etc.

  6. Sharp Hill vineyard This winery is awesome and it’s just great to be there. You will enjoy yourself if you are opportune to visit that place. The place is not as noisy as other wineries, but you can get all the selections of wines you need. It is located at the northeastern Connecticut, and it is not too close to other vineyards. You can get one of the best customer services whenever you visit sharp hill vineyard.

  7. Hait-Brown Hait-brown is also called old school spot; and it is regarded as one of the first wineries of the Connecticut. In Hait-brown, events and festivals are conducted each year, and many people do come around and have great time with one another.

  8. They have solid wine with varieties of selections; the place is a nice place to visit.

  9. Connecticut valley winery This is regarded as a very talented spot where wines are made. It is a group of family that set up this place; the father, mother, and their children are the ones managing the affairs of the valley winery. They make great wines of different taste and they always do all possible means to improve on their productivity.

  10. Gouveia This is considered to be among the new wineries and tasting rooms; it is located at the top of a hill extended towards the middle of Connecticut. The wine made in this place is great and solid. The venue is a nice place, and because of this, it attracts the attention of so many visitors. The place can also be use for recreation.

  11. Chamard This winery has a very nice setting and the wines been produced are solid wines in which most of these wines are produced in CT. It is considered to be the busiest among the wineries in Connecticut, because of the way people always troop to that place. Chamard is an excellent winery and you can find it just a few miles away from the Clinton shopping outlets.
