Quality Assurance (or QA) means that an organisation that has developed and implemented a quality management system (QMS) that meets the requirements of, and has passed an audit (by a JAS-ANZ accredited certification body) against the Australian and international standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System – Requirements (the QA standard).

  4. These days a Quality Management System and quality certification is often a requirement for tenders and contracts, so not being certified could mean you are missing out on business.
