  2. New Mexico is famous for its hilly areas. It is perhaps the most interesting state about which people always remain curious. This is the sixth largest state of the United States in terms of area. The wine making industry in this state has a great history which is over 400 years old.

  3. During the medieval era the Monks arrived this state and they planted some grapes in the Rio Grande Valley. The planted these grapes in order to prepare sacred wine which was an integral part of their religious ceremonies.

  4. The wineries in New Mexico have established themselves and the wine lovers always admire the quality of their wine. They have earned the reputation of being the top quality wine producers in the United States.

  5. The huge area of the state allows the wine producers to grow a wide variety of grapes. It allows them to produce the wine of different types and it also helps them to attract a huge market.
