Some people say government websites are boring…… Can you believe these websites/web pages were made by government departments?

OK… I hear you!It may be a little unreasonable to expect you make a website like NASA or the Whitehouse. (but they did inspire you, right?) But how about these?

You probably agree that these government sites are great…. But what exactly is it that makes them great?

Here is my hypothesis(used on culture.tw): • Clear aim (that you can state in one sentence) • Clear target audience • Great design (i.e., beautiful, fun, inspirational) • Super easy to understand the organization • Trust (manifested by clear accreditation, accuracy of information, etc.)

More about aim: • What do you (your government unit) want to tell your target audience? • What does your target audience want to know? (Simply in one sentence) With a perfect government the answer would be the same!
