Developing our Teams • Need to start strong teamwork now! • This is your current vision and it will probably change- we need to start somewhere • In your teams, develop a poster that incorporates: • your current understanding of RtII • your current vision of RtII in your building • your buildings current resiliency factors • Be prepared to report out

  3. Pyramid of Interventions • As you are watching the video: • What concepts resonate with you? • What concepts are currently in place in your district? • What questions?

  4. Pyramid of Response to Intervention • Using Chapters 1-3 Generate the following for each chapter (report out): • One sentence that you felt was most important • One phrase that summarizes an important thought • One word that is crucial to the understanding of the topic

How have things been going? • Looking for downtime in the day to provide Tier 2 & 3 support • Looking deeper into formative assessments • Differentiating instruction • Meeting as a building to discuss RtII concerns • Ideas for how to adapt our school for RtII • Grouping/looking for resources • High expectations • Increasing background knowledge • Ideas for intervention logs • Parent involvement • Reviewing Early Learning Standards
