CR is angled 35-40 Degrees Caudad Entering at the Glabella SID 40
What to look for • Condyloid processes • Temporomandibular fossae
Axiolateral • 8 x 10 Crosswise • 75 @ 5 • Shield • Marker • Hold breath • Collimate to mandible
Positioning • Rotate the head in a lateral position. ( sometime body has to roll) • Side of interest on table. • Extend neck so no imposition of spine
CR is angled 25 degrees cephalad Exit the region of interest Sid 40
Seen on Film • Rami • Body • And mentum nearest the film
Orbits • One View Rhese Method • 8x10 • Shield • Marker • 80 @ 18 • Hold breath • Collimate to area of interest
Positioning • Patient prone on table • Place patient’s chin, check and nose against table • The mid sagittal plane froms a 53 degrees angle with IR • Acanthiomeatal line perpendicualr to IR
