  5. WORK PERIOD: Review of the Writing Process • Prewrite • Brainstorm your ideas • Draft • Rough Draft • Revise • Add some swag • Edit • Clean up the edges • Publish • Share your finished product!

  6. Work Period • Today is Exam Day • Complete your in-class essay (test grade) • When you finish, complete the Unit One Exam on your own sheet of paper. • With any time left over, you may silently read a book.

  7. CLOSING • If everyone is done, we will read from our extended text. • If not, you may read your own book
