Pineapple upside-down cake is a one-layer butter cake flipped after baking to reveal a glowing mosaic of caramelized pineapple rings. It was invented to give housewives time to make delicious cakes. 5.Line the bottom of the butter with 5-7 pineapple rings and cook over medium heat for another 2 minutes. 6.Pour cake batter on top of the pineapples. 7.Bake for 28-35 minutes. 8.Leave it to cool for 10 mins then invert the cake to serve it.
