Video technology • Since the very first video recording device, humans have been creating short films. • Although the popularity of short films and videos was in and out of the spot light over time, they have never been more popular than today. • Thanks to “Youtube” and other video sharing sites, short films have become imbedded in todays society.

  5. The short tutorial video project • We will be working on an extended video project. • There will be multiple components to the video that goes beyond the video itself. • A brainstorming mind map, script, and story boards will also be necessary, among other criteria established as a group.

  6. Today’s task • Discuss with other students in the class to determine ideas, possibilities, options, criteria, anything you would like involved in the video project. • Why? To be better prepared when discussion criteria as whole group. • Criteria: keep in mind this will be a short film and not a Hollywood block buster.
