  5. Chicago Bears History The Chicago Bears were founded in 1919 in Decatur, Illinois and went to Chicago in 1921. The Bears played home games at Wrigley Field on Chicago's North Side through the 1970s season. Ever since 1971 they’ve been playing football at Soldier Field.

  8. Chicago Bear Mascot There mascot is Staley the Bear. He also has a jersey like the other Chicago Bears team members. He got his name because of A. E. Staley who first founded the Bears. He sometimes appears on T.V. especially when the Bears went to the Super Bowl in 2006.

  9. Cool Facts The bears nicknames are Da Bears and The Monsters of the Midway. The Chicago Bears stadium is located on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago Bears stadium was opened in 1924 and was closed from 2002-2003 for renovations. The Chicago Bears head coach is Lovie Smith.
