The Caribbean Jamaica is one of many islands in the Caribbean. The Caribbean is made up of 28 island nations and more than 7,000 individual islands. Jamaica is the fifth largest island in the Caribbean with Cuba the biggest with 42,803 square miles and Saint Kitts and Nevis the smallest with only 100 square miles. The islands near Jamaica are Haiti, Cuba and the Dominion republic. The Caribbean is around 92,541 square miles of land.
Usain Bolt A Jamaican hero! Usain bolt is the fastest person in the world and won the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics. He is the champion of Jamaica and so is his fellow competitor Yohan Blake. In the London Olympics he was the first person to ever win the 100 metre sprint, 200 metre sprint and the 4 x 100 metres relay race with his team, in one Olympics. Along with his gold medal he has also won the Laureus World Sportsman Award.
