  7. What does it mean to have Down syndrome? Sometimes people with Down syndrome have to work twice as hard to learn things that come easy to you!

  9. How can you help? • Be patient • Be a friend • Be a role model • Offer help if he/she is struggling with something • Include him/her

  11. Things to remember! • Everyone is different – that’s what makes the world interesting • People with Down syndrome love many of the same things that you do! They love to sing, play sports, and hang out with friends…don’t you?
