  2. Introduction • Jesse 0wens was a famous runner. he had a sad child hood he started training hard and went on to do great things.

  3. Childhood He was born September 12 ,1913 he lived in Oakville, Alabama. He was very poor it was hard for his parents to support him and his six brothers and three sisters. He had to work the land he barley went to school unless they didn’t need him . He wasn’t very smart in high school he met a running teacher. So every morning he would run to alley near where he meet the coach. The coach would be waiting with a hot waiting for Jesse.

  4. His job • It was hard work but he loved to run. He won 75 out of 79 of his races.

  5. Olympics • Jesse won four medals set three records in Ann Harbor. He was awarded for his hard work he was awarded the medal of honor. Jesse proved that white people aren’t better than black people.

  6. Conclusion Jesse Owens is a hero to many kids .Some day many kids are going to be just like him.
