Groundwater Monitoring WellsCurrent vs. Historic Results (TPAHs)
MW-35r: Current vs. Historic Results PAHs detected at much lower detection limits PCP = ND Metals = Similar
MW-37s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs are an order of magnitude higher cPAHs are ND (lower) PCP is higher Metals are low and similar to 2006
MW-37i: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower CPAHs = ND PCP = ND Metals = similar
MW-37d: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower cPAHs = ND PCP = ND Metals = lower except Zn
MW-39s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower cPAHs = 2010 ND (lower) PCP = ND Metals = lower
MW-41s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower cPAHs = 2010 ND lower PCP = ND Metals = lower
MW-47s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = similar cPAHs = ND PCP = ND Metals = similar
MW-53s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = similar cPAHs = ND PCP = 2 orders of magnitude lower Metals = similar
MW-55s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower cPAHs = ND PCP = ND Metals = similar Cu higher
MW-58s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = lower cPAHs = ND PCP = ND Metals = lower/similar
MW-19s: Current vs. Historic Results LPAHs = similar to lower cPAHs = similar? (lower detection limits) PCP = similar Metals = slightly higher
Conclusions for Groundwater Sampling • Concentrations generally are lower with isolated increases; however generally in same ranges • Recommend no immediate term groundwater sampling unless associated with DNAPL Recovery System • Groundwater is not expected to change in concentrations for a long time – perhaps sample again in 20 years? – Team discussion
