Now, it’s your turn!  • Your task for the day will be to create a classified ad for YOUR ideal apartment/house/condo etc. • You should focus on special features you would like to have in it. • You need to use abbreviations that are normally used in the newspaper ads. You will be presenting your ad to the class.

  7. Some common abbreviations: • Bdrm=Bedroom • A/C=air conditioning • Sec. Dep.=Security Deposit • Avail.=Available • Crprt.=carpet • H/W floors=Hard Wood Floors • App.=Application • Util.=Utilities (water, electric, gas bills) • Smkr=Smoker • App.=Appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher etc.)
