  15. NFI capacities to respond to FRA and C&I for SFM demands Tentative evaluation/ estimation: Lithuania (Dr. Andrius Kuliešis) - Lithuanian NFI directly could provide by information approximately for 60 per cents of all variables. 20 per cents of all variables, especially on other wooded land, require some additional evaluation. The rest 20 per cents of variables should be estimated, using sources of other inventories or assessments. Liechtenstein -only about 60 % of the quantitative indicators of SFM currently could be reported …

  46. Issues/ questions to be answered(cont.) • What resources are needed for the FRA-related work in the Timber Branch on a permanent basis, and during the intensive cycles of the implementation ? • How can the global and regional FRA processes be managed and co-ordinated to achieve an optimum balance between global and regional objectives and capacities ? • What support and technical guidance from the global FRA are expected for regional FRA work ?

  47. Issues/ questions to be answered(cont.) • Is it necessary to continue the work of the regional FRA Team of Specialists after its Mandate is expire ? • What is the main focus, and the future Terms of Reference of the regional FRA TOS (if any) should be? • What other methods of the regional FRA-related work are suitable, if «No» to the Team of Speciailists?
