Grade 7 General MusicSpring 2009Mrs. Donna Edwards: Music Educator • This power point presentation will introduce your folk group to several successful American folk groups of the 1950’s and 1960’s. • Please investigate these groups and select one to research for your final folk group power point project. List your 1st, 2nd, & 3rd choices. There is a URL listed with each group for quick access of information. • Take time to listen to media clips of one of their songs to help you make your selections. • A rubric for your embedded power point will be posted on my web site on Friday, April 24th. • You will need to let me know the name of the American folk group you would like to learn about, and present to the class , by the end of today’s class. If two groups select the same one, we will flip a coin and “heads” gets to choose first.
