  3. Americans Turn Inward • Focus on improving themselves and their community--Me decade • Self-help becomes popular • Yoga • Exercise • Religion--both Christian and non-Christian • Self Awareness • Move from equality to multiculturalism—Identity politics • Sly and Family Stone becomes obsolete
