EBacc • The Government expect that students have the opportunity to study the Ebacc It is the Government’s ambition that nationally in state-funded mainstream schools: • By 2022, 75% of Year 10 pupils study the EBaccGCSE courses nationally by 2022 (exams in 2024) • By 2025, 90% of Year 10 pupils (exams in 2027). • All students have the opportunity to opt for the Ebacc • We highly recommend that students consider the Ebacc • We realise that this is not an option that is preferable for all our students Tradition * Innovation * Community * Achievement

Year 9 Curriculum Core English Language & Literature; Mathematics; Trilogy Science; RS; Core PE(core); Creative curriculum • 3 Options • One choice must be either Geography or History or French To qualify for the EBacc students need to choose : French & Geography or History Tradition * Innovation * Community * Achievement

Creative Curriculum • Creative subjects • Decline nationally at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 • Important part of the GCSE and A-level programme at the school • Important part of the national economy • Strong belief in the benefit of these subjects All students to continue with creative subjects in Year 9 • developing knowledge, skills • appreciation for the Arts • develop their cultural capital • contribute to their well-being Tradition * Innovation * Community * Achievement
