  5. A.S. Degree • Associate in Science - A.S. Degree • Prepares you to enter a specialized career field.  • Transfers to the B.A.S. (Bachelor of Applied Science) Degree at select Florida public universities that offer the B.A.S. • “Articulated” A.S. degree will also transfer to a B.A. or B.S. General Business or Business Management Degree

Technical Certificates • What are they? • 12-24 Credits of Technical Coursework • Credits earned are applied to the AS Degree • (Must meet testing requirements if applicable once AS Degree is declared and Developmental Coursework may be required) • Preparation for immediate entry into workforce • How do I get one? • Complete the required coursework • Automatically awarded once requirements are met, although we encourage you to declare a TC • What certificates can I earn for business related fields? • Accounting, Business, Customer Service, Human Resources, Property & Casualty and Real Estate

(Bachelor of Applied Science) • You might still need to meet Gen Ed and Foreign language requirements depending on completed coursework • Gordon Rule requirements may differ between VC and your next institution! • Employment
