Moses Mabhida Stadium Stadium completed…hosted several events Semi-final between Chiefs & Pirates Capacity of 48,000 at stadium Fed off grid supply – afternoon match Pitch lights were switched on at half time Pitch Lighting Pitch Lighting not evenly spread along catwalk  creates impression that lamps have failed (but not a problem). Supply to Pitch lighting is fed from the essential supply (Generator) UPS debate finalised – City to install – arriving 21 April 2010 2014-10-15 2

  3. eThekwini feedback VOC established at the stadium - no Electricity rep required Disaster Management JOC – still being equipped. Training of facilities to be done at an alternative (already operational) venue. Electricity rep required at briefings only. Normal liaison between ESKOM and eThekwini Control Rooms Regular interaction between 2010 Designated Desk @ eThekwini Electricity and SAC (Situation Awareness Centre) @ ESKOM Load shedding schedules revised UFLS installation complete Maintenance plans on track and continuing 2014-10-15 3

Streetlighting upgrades in vicinity of MM Stadium almost complete Stadium overlay plans being approved. Overlay electricity supply being provided by City. Event Organiser to pay upfront for installation. Fan Park/Mile still under construction Event orgainser appointed Training venues almost complete 2014-10-15 4
