  2. Part one about John Logie Barid • John Logie Barid invented the television. John Logie Barid was Scottish but he lived in England. He was born at 14th August 1888 near Glasgow and died in 1946. He dreamed of inventing the first television . On the 26th January 1926 he gave the world the first television in the world. John Logie Barid was a nice calm man and a very fine inventor indeed. His first television was a wide screen and at the bottom of the television was buttons and there was a big light red button that said underneath on/off. Next page Back a page

It was painted gray it was black inside because it was off and he was very impressed with his invention that he had done. The first telly was very very small it would be in those days. A few years later on the 14th of June 1946 he pasted a way his Children were crying they mist the greatest hero and father but was now dead.
