3. Matthew 4:12-16 12 Now when He heard that John had been arrested, He withdrew into Galilee. 12 ครั้นพระเยซูทรงทราบข่าวว่ายอห์นถูกจำไว้แล้ว พระองค์ก็เสด็จไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี

4. 13 And leaving Nazareth He went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, 13 แล้วย้ายที่ประทับจากเมืองนาซาเร็ธไปที่เมืองคาเปอรนาอุม ซึ่งอยู่ริมทะเลสาบที่เขตเผ่าเศบูลุนและนัฟทาลี

5. 14 so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: 14 เพื่อจะสำเร็จตามพระวจนะ ซึ่งตรัสไว้โดยอิสยาห์ผู้เผยพระวจนะว่า

6. 15 “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—15 แคว้นเศบูลุนและแคว้นนัฟทาลี ทางข้างทะเลฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้น คือกาลิลี แห่งบรรดาประชาชาติ

7. 16 the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.”16 ประชาชนผู้นั่งอยู่ในความมืด ได้เห็นความสว่างยิ่งใหญ่ และผู้ที่นั่งอยู่ในแดนและเงาแห่งความตาย ก็มีความสว่างขึ้นส่องถึงเขาแล้ว”

8. Mark 2:11 And when He returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that He was at home.1 ครั้นล่วงไปหลายวัน พระองค์ได้เสด็จไปในเมืองคาเปอรนาอุมอีก และคนทั้งหลายได้ยินว่าพระองค์ประทับที่บ้าน

9. 2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door. And He was preaching the word to them. 2 และคนเป็นอันมากมาชุมนุมกันจนไม่มีที่จะรับ จะเข้าใกล้ประตูก็ไม่ได้ พระองค์จึงเทศนาข่าวนั้นให้เขาฟัง

10. 3 And they came, bringing to Him a paralytic carried by four men. 3 แล้วมีคนนำคนง่อยคนหนึ่งมาหาพระองค์ มีสี่คนหาม

11. 4 And when they could not get near Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.

12. 4 เมื่อเขาเข้าไปให้ถึงพระองค์ไม่ได้เพราะคนมาก เขาจึงรื้อดาดฟ้าหลังคาตรงที่พระองค์ประทับนั้น และเมื่อรื้อเป็นช่องแล้ว เขาก็หย่อนแคร่ที่คนง่อยนอนอยู่

13. 5 And when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “My son, your sins are forgiven.” 5 เมื่อพระเยซูทรงเห็นความเชื่อของเขาทั้งหลาย พระองค์จึงตรัสกับคนง่อยว่า “ลูกเอ๋ย บาปของเจ้าได้รับอภัยแล้ว”

14. 6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 6 แต่มีพวกธรรมาจารย์บางคนนั่งอยู่ที่นั่น และเขาคิดในใจว่า

15. 7 “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 7 “ทำไมคนนี้พูดเช่นนี้ หมิ่นประมาทพระเจ้านี่ ใครจะยกความผิดบาปได้เว้นแต่พระเจ้าเท่านั้น”

16. 8 And immediately Jesus, perceiving in His spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you question these things in your hearts? 8 และในทันใดนั้น เมื่อพระเยซูทรงทราบในพระทัยว่าเขาคิดในใจอย่างนั้น จึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า “เหตุไฉนท่านทั้งหลายจึงคิดในใจอย่างนี้เล่า

17. 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 9 ที่จะว่ากับคนง่อยว่า 'บาปทั้งปวงของเจ้าได้รับอภัยแล้ว' และจะว่า 'จงยกแคร่เดินไปเถิด' นั้น ข้างไหนจะง่ายกว่ากัน

18. 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic— 10 แต่เพื่อท่านทั้งหลายจะได้รู้ว่า บุตรมนุษย์มีสิทธิอำนาจในโลกที่จะโปรดยกความผิดบาปได้” พระองค์จึงตรัสสั่งคนง่อยว่า

19. 11 “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.” 11 “ข้าพเจ้า สั่งเจ้าว่า จงลุกขึ้นยกแคร่ไปบ้านของเจ้าเถิด”

20. 12 And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

21. 12 คนง่อยได้ลุกขึ้น แล้วก็ยกแคร่ของตนเดินออกไปต่อหน้าคนทั้งปวง คนทั้งปวงก็ประหลาดใจนัก จึงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าว่า “เราไม่เคยเห็นเช่นนี้เลย”

22. 13 He went out again beside the sea, and all the crowd was coming to Him, and He was teaching them. 13ฝ่ายพระองค์ได้เสด็จไปตามชายทะเลสาบอีก ประชาชนก็มาหาพระองค์ และพระองค์ได้ตรัสสั่งสอนเขา

23. 14 And as He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and He said to him, “Follow Me.” And he rose and followed Him.14 เมื่อพระองค์กำลังเสด็จไปนั้น ก็เห็นชายคนหนึ่งชื่อเลวีบุตรอัลเฟอัสนั่งอยู่ที่ด่านภาษี จึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า “จงตามเรามาเถิด” เขาก็ลุกขึ้นตามพระองค์ไป

24. 15 And as He reclined at a table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and His disciples, for there were many who followed Him.

25. 15 เมื่อพระองค์ประทับเสวยพระกระยาหารอยู่ในเรือนของเลวี มีพวกเก็บภาษีและคนบาปอื่นๆหลายคน ร่วมสำรับกับพระเยซูและกับพวกสาวกของพระองค์ เพราะมีคนติดตามพระองค์ไปมาก

26. 16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that He was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to His disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

27. 16 ฝ่ายธรรมาจารย์ที่เป็นพวกฟาริสี เมื่อเห็นพระองค์ทรงเสวยพระกระยาหารกับพวกคนบาปและคนเก็บภาษี จึงถามศิษย์ของพระองค์ว่า “เหตุไฉนอาจารย์ของท่านจึงรับประทานด้วยกันกับคนเก็บภาษีและคนนอกรีตเล่า”

28. 17 And when Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

29. 17 ครั้นพระเยซูทรงทราบดังนั้น จึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า “คนเจ็บต้องการหมอ แต่คนสบายไม่ต้องการ ข้าพเจ้า มิได้มาเพื่อจะเรียกคนที่เห็นว่าตัวชอบธรรม แต่มาเรียกคนที่พวกท่านว่านอกรีต”

30. 18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. And people came and said to Him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”

31. 18 มีพวกศิษย์ของยอห์น และพวกฟาริสีกำลังถืออดอาหาร ประชาชนจึงมาทูลถามพระองค์ว่า “เหตุไฉนพวกศิษย์ของยอห์น และศิษย์ของพวกฟาริสีถืออดอาหาร แต่พวกศิษย์ของพระองค์ไม่ถือ”

32. 19 And Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

33. 19 พระเยซูจึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า “ท่านจะให้สหายของเจ้าบ่าวถืออดอาหาร เมื่อเจ้าบ่าวยังอยู่กับเขากระนั้นหรือ เจ้าบ่าวอยู่ด้วยนานเท่าใดสหายก็ถืออดอาหารไม่ได้นานเท่านั้น

34. 20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day. 20 แต่วันหนึ่งเจ้าบ่าวจะต้องจากสหายไป ในวันนั้นสหายจะถืออดอาหาร

35. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 21 ไม่มีผู้ใดเอาท่อนผ้าทอใหม่มาปะเสื้อเก่า ถ้าทำอย่างนั้น ท่อนผ้าทอใหม่ที่ปะเข้านั้น เมื่อหดจะทำให้เสื้อเก่าขาดกว้างออกไปอีก

36. 22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins—and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.”

37. 22 และไม่มีผู้ใดเอาน้ำองุ่นหมักใหม่มาใส่ไว้ในถุงหนังเก่า ถ้าทำอย่างนั้นน้ำองุ่นหมักใหม่จะทำให้ถุงเก่านั้นขาดไป ทั้งน้ำองุ่นและถุงก็จะเสียไปด้วยกัน แต่น้ำองุ่นหมักใหม่นั้นต้องใส่ไว้ในถุงหนังใหม่”

38. 23 One Sabbath He was going through the grainfields, and as they made their way, His disciples began to pluck heads of grain. 23 ในวันสะบาโตวันหนึ่ง พระองค์กำลังเสด็จไปในนา และเมื่อพวกศิษย์ของพระองค์กำลังเดินไปก็เด็ดรวงข้าวไป

39. 24 And the Pharisees were saying to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” 24 ฝ่ายพวกฟาริสีจึงถามพระองค์ว่า “ดูซิ ทำไมพวกศิษย์ของท่านจึงทำการซึ่งต้องห้ามในวันสะบาโต”

40. 25 And He said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him: 25 พระองค์จึงตรัสกับเขาว่า “พวกท่านยังไม่ได้อ่านหรือ ซึ่งดาวิดได้กระทำเมื่อขาดอาหาร1และอดอยาก ทั้งท่านและพรรคพวกด้วย

41. 26 how he entered the house of God, in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those who were with him?”

42. 26 คือคราวเมื่ออาบีอาธาร์เป็นมหาปุโรหิต ท่านได้เข้าไปในพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า และรับประทานขนมปังหน้าพระพักตร์ ที่กฎหมายห้ามไม่ให้ใครรับประทาน เว้นแต่พวกปุโรหิตเท่านั้น และยังซ้ำส่งให้คนที่มากับท่านรับประทานด้วย”

43. 27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 27 พระองค์จึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า “วันสะบาโตนั้นทรงตั้งไว้เพื่อมนุษย์ มิใช่ทรงสร้างมนุษย์ไว้สำหรับวันสะบาโต

44. 28 So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.” 28 เหตุฉะนั้นบุตรมนุษย์เป็นเจ้าเป็นนายเหนือวันสะบาโตด้วย”
