THM Level Tool (Beta Version) for Efficient Leveling Operations

The THM Level Tool aids users in performing precise leveling to federal geodetic standards. Developed by the Texas Spatial Reference Center, it ensures work complies with National Spatial Reference System requirements. This package, the THM Level Tool, supports users performing leveling to Federal Geodetic Control Subcommittee standards. • It implements specification checking so that users are able to insure that their work meets standards of the National Spatial Reference System. • It has been developed by the Texas Spatial Reference Center as a free service. • Current develop is limited to the Leica DNA03 digital level. • Support for other units will be undertaken once other equipment and manufacturer instruction sets are obtained.

Highlights of the software: • Runs on any Windows based mobile platform ( Windows Mobile 5.0, Pocket PC 2003 etc) • Complies with FGCS digital leveling standards. • Stores data in XML format. • Implements 2-sigma rejection criteria. • Easy to navigate. • Completely independent of on-board software. • Speeds up leveling operations.
