Creating a Positive Behavioral Support System at Lovell Elementary School

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is an encompassing approach to fostering social and academic success while preventing behavior issues. It involves a range of strategies tailored to individual needs. At Lovell Elementary, PBS aims to establish consistent plans for positive outcomes for all students. The system includes universal, targeted, and intensive interventions, along with teacher and community training and early intervention efforts. By implementing research-validated procedures and promoting a district-wide behavior support system, Lovell Elementary is moving towards a solution.
