Mount Zion—Grace of the Gospel • The City of the living God • Heavenly City • Place of the General Assembly • Myriads of angels Dan. 7:10; Rev. 5:11 • Col. 2:18; Rev. 19:10 • Church of the first-born • Romans 8:17, 29 • God, the judge of all • At Sinai- His presence meant death • At Zion- His presence is life Luke 23:45

The spirits of righteous men made perfect • Jesus • The mediator of a new covenant • Sprinkled blood • Blood that speaks louder than that of Abel Col. 1:20 • SEE TO IT • Do not refuse (ignore) Him who is speaking Heb. 1:1-2 • Israel didn’t escape—how will you? • The earth shook the first time • Yet again—heaven and earth • Hag. 2:26; Rev. 6:12-14

  4. Therefore • With a kingdom that can’t be shaken Rev. 21:1-2 • Show gratitude • A way by which we can offer service • With reverence and awe • Remembering this! • GOD—is a consuming fire • God will judge even Jews/ Hebrews • That go back to Sinai • After seeing Jesus and Mt. Zion

  6. Remember (sympathy) those that are being ill-treated • They are part of the same body as you • Romans 12:24-26; Eph. 4:4-6 • They, like you, are still in the body (sympathy) • Gal. 6:2 • Be there • Help directly • Pray Hebrews 4:15 • True faith demands true living
