Purpose • To assist Chrysler Group LLC in meeting its supplier diversity objectives, by providing M/WBE and Veterans an opportunity to showcase their products and/or services to Chrysler Group LLC key personnel, Tier One Suppliers, and registered visitors. Note: Chrysler Group LLC has responsibility of reporting diversity spend to the United States Govt.)
Set-Up • Exhibitors are required to set up on Wednesday, September 14th, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. All exhibits must be in place by 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 14th. Security will be provided the evening of the 14th. However, we recommend that you secure all items of value until the Matchmaker opens on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Note: Tables will be located in the Tech Plaza Lobby for exhibitor check-in, Booth Location, etc…
Drop-Off • Vehicles must be unloaded at Visitor Parking (Level C) located beneath the Tech Plaza lobby. Note: You will need to take the elevator, or escalator, up to Tech Plaza lobby. Please bring your own cart or dolly to transport your exhibit materials into the facility. No carts will be available!!
Booths LEVELS 1, 2, 3, & 4 ENGINEERING ROW TIER I EXHIBITORS • You will receive an email with your password and login. Booth locations have been assigned. Note: your login and password. You can edit your company information if necessary using your password and login. PLEASE DO NOT TEAR DOWN BOOTHS OR DISPLAYS PRIOR TO 3:45 PM. EVERYTHING has to be removed by 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 15th ! BOOTH FORFEIT: IF YOUR BOOTH IS NOT SET UP BY 6:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH, IT WILL BE REASSIGNED TO SOMEONE ON THE WAITLIST - YOU MAY REGISTER ON-SITE AS A VISITOR. Displays • An 8 ft, covered table and 2 chairs will be provided to display your company’s capabilities. Note: Floor displays are permitted, but will be limited to the space provided ONLY.Display tables and chairs may not be removed. Table ID numbers must stay visible in your display area. Make sure that your company name is clearly displayed on your booth. Due to space constraints, a maximum of two (2) representatives per exhibitor is recommended. Booths should not be left unattended at any time during the event.
Facilities • Electrical: Electrical outlets will NOT be provided. Electrical connections to the CTC facility are strictly prohibited. You will be asked to leave if you are found to be in violation of this directive! • Facility: Absolutely no posting or attaching of anything to walls, posts, railings, glass, etc. • Shipping: NO SHIPPING! – Shipping of materials and /or displays is not permitted. All display materials must be carried in. Please bring your own cart or dolly to carry your materials
Parking • On the day of the event, parking will be available in the Special Events Parking (Lot #26) for exhibitors only. • Shuttle service will be provided until 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. • Prior to the event, you will receive a parking pass via email. You must bring this parking permit to park in lot 26 if you do not have it, you will need to park at the Silverdome. • Signs will be strategically located directing you to Special Event Parking (Lot #26). YOU MUST use theShuttle Service. Parking in the visitor’s parking structure is prohibited. • Overflow parking will be available at the Silverdome.
Security • Photo ID and a business card are required for entry. • Absolutely no cameras allowed. • All personal or company property (i.e. computers, table top displays, and other electronics) are permitted, but must be pre-labeled with your company name prior to entering the Chrysler facility. You will be provided a signed property pass, which will be located in the envelope at your booth for these items. Indicate the serial number of the item on the property pass. You will need to give your property pass to Security on your departure from the building. • Please complete the property pass PRIOR to leaving your booth area in order to avoid delays when exiting the complex. • Security will be closely monitoring activity on each floor during the Matchmaker.
Misc. • Name Tags: Please use your company nametag for your representatives. • Dress code is business casual / comfortable shoes are recommended. • Lunch:11:45AM - 2:00PM – On your own • Both Cafeterias will be open until 2:00 p.m. The Sundries shop will be open until 4:30 p.m. • Volunteers: Chrysler Group LLC volunteers will be wearing white shirts and Matchmaker ID Lights.
Information • Information: Information tables staffed with volunteers will be located on each exhibitor level. • Booth locations are pre-assigned. Volunteers will direct you to your booth location when you enter the facility. It is important that you set-up where you are assigned. • Survey: You will receive a survey via e-mail following the event. Please take a couple of minutes to complete this survey which will help us to improve our future Matchmaker events.
Reporting Matchmaker Reporting Requirements ** • Reporting: The Barcode identification process will be used to identify those companies who have an active interest in doing business with your company. After the event, you will be able to view your visitor contacts by logging onto the Chrysler diversity website: http://supplierdiversity.chrysler.com via the Matchmaker reporting system link. • As an exhibitor, you will be required to report potential and actual dollars achieved as a result of contacts made at this event. Reporting must done on a monthly basis. Reminder notices for reporting will be issued via email to exhibitors. Reports must be submitted by the 10th of every month. The 2011 Matchmaker exhibitor reporting period will be October – August 2012. • Exhibitors must report monthly even if zero dollars to report. Instructions will be emailed to you Monday, September 26th.
Barcodes • Barcode labels will be distributed to your booth locations in a manila envelope on the morning of the Matchmaker event. These barcode labels are intended to be distributed to companies that you may provide business opportunities for as you walk the floor. • As an exhibitor you will be collecting barcodes from visitors. • BARCODE PICK UP INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED DAY OF EVENT.
