  1. BBC Readiness Report for p+p 2008 Jan.29th Misaki Ouchida, Kazuhisa Yamaura Hiroshima University

  2. <Questions> • 1) Are any changes needed to your subsystem, e.g. HV changes, etc, for pp running? Who will do those and when? • A: Nothing. We don’t have to change. • 2) Are any special runs needed to check your subsystem for pp collisions? • A: Nothing. Sometimes it’s better for us to take B_OFF Run. (for checking Vertex’s moving over a little.) (But it is not indispensable.)

  3. 3) What changes to online monitoring will you need to make for pp collisions, and when/who will make those? • A: Nothing except the timing adjustment (v124) by looking Hit time distribution. • We would not need to change as long as changing assigned trigger for p+p. Change: we will update South BBC number of Hit per Event monitor for p+p. South over limit range will be update . South North catching Au catching d

  4. 4) If we get the opportunity to run for 500 GeV p+p collisions for some amount of time at the end of the run, what additional changes would you need to make for your subsystem? • Same questions as 1,2,3 above for this. • A: Nothing.

  5. <Recent BBC Report> Q-scan T-scan • We have checked FEM condition to do T-scan and Q-scan and calibrated data every weeks or every B_OFF run. ADC[ch] TDC[ch] <latest Calibrated event data>(lattermost d+Au Run#253701 TDC overflow Laser ADC Laser TDC ADC of PMT You can check these data below; http://www.hepl.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/phx/bnl/calibration/rundep/RUN8/run8.html

  6. Back Up BBC Online Monitor looks good!

  7. We have to update online monitor to suit trigger. Trigger rarely change The red line is the ZDC vertex distributions triggered by ZDCLL1wide.The distribution is normalized by the pre-scale factor of each trigger.
