About the Science Center • A private, non-profit, technology-based economic development organization • Mission is to strengthen the region’s life sciences and technology sectors • Oldest and largest urban research park in the US - established in 1963 • Runs programs for companies and academic research institutions across the region The Science Center transcends government and geographic boundaries
