Salmon • Most freshwater animals can only stay in freshwater but we have a very special fish here in Ireland ‘THE SALMON’. • The Salmon spends its baby life in freshwater and then when it’s three years old it goes into the sea until its ready to go back to its river or stream to have its baby’s !!! • It’s really yummy to eat as well=p

  3. Biggest in the WORLD • The biggest animal in the WORLD is the Blue Whale • This mammal is the size of 8 elephants in a row. • The Blue Whale was once spotted off the coast of an island in Ireland !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DANGER Small fish (the prey) are in major danger first of all sea creatures like sharks, whales, sea lions and more are eating them for dinner (the predator ).But animals like this aren’t the only creatures eating these fish WE ARE human beings are the biggest threat to fish because they’re really yummy to eat.

Shipwrecks • The most famous shipwreck in the world is the Titanic. • The maker of this ship told every one that the Titanic would never sink. • But on the night of the 14 of April 1912 the Titanic struck an iceberg and at 2 o’clock on the 15th it sunk over half the people on the ship died. • They didn’t have as many life boats as needed since they thought this was ‘The Unsinkable Ship’. • There is lots of movies made about this ship. • We have just had the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. • I

  6. Fishing • Fishing is a popular sport in Ireland since we’ve got so many fish .Ireland is well known for its fish’n’chip shops .I love fishing with my dad .We use worms as bait to catch trout during the summer but we only fish at night when you cant see much moon.

  8. Careful You may think that all fish are nice and cute like Nemo. But there are very dangerous fish and this one is a very, very dangerous freshwater fish. THE PIRANHA
