Plusieurs terminaux sont connectés à un site central en vue de réaliser les trois tâches suivantes : • Saisie des commandes • Interrogation des clients • Interrogation des stocks • Sachant que la charge maximale d'un poste de travail est de 0,6 Erlang déterminer la charge C en Erlang du site central et en déduire le nombre de poste de travail (1 jour = 6 heures)

Charge du site en erlang : • Saisie : ESA = N x T / 3600 avec N = 300 / 6 = 50 et T = 180 s  Es = (50 x 180) / 3600 = 2,5 E • Clients : ECL = [(170 / 6) x 90 ] / 3600 = 0,708 E • Stocks : EST =[(130 / 6) x 90 ] / 3600 = 0,36 E • Charge totale ET =  E = 2,5 + 0,708 + 0,36 = 3, 568 Erlangs • Nombre de terminaux (en supposant que chaque terminaux puissent assurer les trois tâches) : • N  3,568 / 0,6 = 5,9Nombre de postes de travail : 6
