GOOD HEALTH IS ABOVE WEALTH • The aim of our project is to promote healthy lifestyle and to point out the need to protect the environment • Three partner schools took part in the project: Gymnázium, Ul. Ľudovíta Štúra 26, Michalovce, Gimnazjum nr2 im. ks Zygfryda Berezeckiego Chelm in Poland and Zara Anadolu Lisesi Sivas in Turkey • Thanks to working with the foreign schools we also got to meet new cultures and we learned to tolerate and to respect

ZARA ANADOLU LISESI, ZARA, SIVAS, TURECKO • The high school is placed in a little town Zara, 70 km east of Sivas City in Anatolian Region • This institution was built in 2005, there are currently 111 female and 94 male students, and 100 of the students are staying in the dormitory placed behind the school building • The school has 16 classrooms, 6 laboratories, 1 library, 2 ELT classrooms, a school canteen and a gym

VISIT TO TURKEY • Our visit took place from 5 to 11 November 2012. • Places we saw: • Our partner school in Zara, their townhall and a new hospital, a fish farm, ancient dwellings, a mosque with a minaret, a city of Sivas • They organised a presentation about the importance of healthy food and we met the members of the Turkish Red Crescend • We went shopping in Turkish shops and tasted delicious Turkish meals and sweets

  6. GIMNAZJUM NR2 IM. KS. ZYGFRYDA BEREZECKIEGO, CHELM, POLAND • Gimnazjum No. 2 in Chełm is a junior secondary public school for 13-16 years old teenagers • Chełm is a small town located in the south-east near the border with Ukraine • Gimnazjum No.2 is a school with a long tradition, it is situated in an old historical building in the park, with a dormitory and a swimming pool near • The school has 10 classrooms, two computer labs, a library, a multimedia lab, and two gyms • The school has 11 classes, with 20-30 students each, a total of 259 students

VISIT to POLAND • We visited our partner school in Poland on 4-10 June 2013 • We met the town mayor and visited the sightseeings of Chelm • We attended physics, biology and chemistry classes • We took part in the European day – a presentation of each country connected with prepairing national meals • We were invited to the goodbye-ball with the senior students

GymnáziuminMICHALOVCE • Gymnázium in Michalovce is a general public school for children and teenagers aged 11-19 years after the graduating from primary school. • Our school is a new school founded in 1992 situated in a building of a previous technical school. The school has 48 teachers, 641 pupils, we have more than 20 classrooms, three computer labs, a library, two gyms, a physics lab, a chemistry lab, a biology lab and a school canteen. We have a constant access to the Internet and other media. • Michalovce is a town situated in the east of Slovakia near the border with the Ukraine /30 km/. Our region is famous for its recreation areas: lakes, a water reservoir, hills of volcanic origin. There are old churches and parks in the town.

PARTNER SCHOOLS VISIT to MICHALOVCE • The partner schools visited Michalovce on 6 – 12 April 2014 • We visited the sightseeings of our town, Ochtinská Aragonite Cave, Košice city and Morské oko lake • We organized a sport day • Students presented scenes on the topic healthy lifestyle and environment • We organizes a contest for the best product from recyclable material
