Floor/Ceiling Defined • Bottom and top 5% of observations
Ceiling on EQ-5D • 8% report fatigue (QWB) • 29% weight problem (QWB) • 55% level 2 on HUI-2 sensation (requires equipment to see or hear) • 8% level 2 on HUI-2 mobility (walks, bends, lifts, jumps, or runs with some limitations but does not require help) • 13% level 2 on HUI-2 emotion (occasionally fretful, angry, irritable, anxious, depressed, or suffering "night terrors“). • 19% level 3 on HUI-3 cognition (somewhat forgetful, but able to think clearly and solve day to day problems).
Floor on QWB • 9% level 1 on HUI-2 sensation (able to see, hear, and speak normally for age) • 25% level 1 on HUI-2 emotion (generally happy and free from worry) • 28% no problems on EQ-5D anxiety/depression • 18% level 1 on HUI-3 ambulation (able to walk around the neighbourhood without difficulty, and without walking equipment) • 11% no problems on EQ-5D mobility • 7% excellent, 8% very good, 19% good, and 31% in fair self-rated health • 6% feel “full of life” all of the time
