Principles of Proactive Safety • Safe work practices are reinforced, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions must be corrected immediately • All injuries and occupational illnesses must be investigated along with incidents with potential for injury • Off the job safety is an important element of the overall safety effort • People are the most important element in the success of a health and safety program
