What a mess! Yup… another problem…
My Problem… • I have five liquids that I need to label and put away in the proper place but I don’t know what they are! • I know that the only things that I have ordered are the following ten items: • Shampoo • Water • Vinegar • Salt water • Antifreeze • Corn syrup • Mineral oil • Hand soap • Vegetable oil • Isopropyl alcohol
What I need you to do… • Identify the unknown liquids from at least three properties. • Identify the properties as:a) physical or chemicalb) intensive or extensive
What you will turn in… • Define: • Chemical property • Physical property • Extensive property • intensive property • Identify what each of the five substances are. Include: • The properties you used to identify and what type of property it is (chem/phys and ext/int) • Pour even amounts of liquid (most dense to least) in a 25 mL grad cylinder and get it checked with me.
