  7. Virtual Social Performance Management Capacity Building Program • Program Methodology: • Similar to what is done through the Mision Program’s Capacity Building • Addresses specific issues that are key to effective management • It is not only about providing knowledge but also extending learning to skills development • By the end of the program, organizations meet learning objectives • For example, by the end of the “Clients” module, organizations will have determined their segmentation, identified the behaviors related to success in each segment, identified the key market factors that determine those behaviors and developed a service cycle for a key product • There are three application modalities

  8. Learnings and Challenges • Spreading the trainings involves multiple approaches: virtual, face-to-face and semi-virtual. • The demand for training and technical assistance varies from one organization to another, and so the response should vary as well and meet the specific needs of the MFIs. • Networks are an effective vehicle for delivering training and technical assistance. However, they should play a facilitating role, retaining key information in order to add information for new technical assistance and training challenges. “Know-where” is more important than know-how. • Developing partnerships with specialized consultants and training organizations that know the issues well is important, as well as ensuring that they understand the social performance approach and integrate it into their consultancies.
