Sales Manager Responsibilities • Customer Service- Ensure selling staff delivers FAST, FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT service. Train associates in product information and selling techniques. Exhibit personal service skills. • People Management- Recruit and select quality associates. Monitor performance of associates, recognize solid performance, coach and counsel associates.
Sales Manager Responsibilities • Driving the Business - Execute merchandise strategies in areas of responsibility to include: displays, promotional set ups, motivating associates and interacting with customers. • Company Goals- Achieve company goals in areas of instant credits, shortage and target businesses.
Assistant Buyer Responsibilities • SALES - Assist Buyer in planning and achieving sales plan. • GROSS MARGIN- Assist Buyer in planning and execution of merchandise plans to achieve gross margin plans. • INFORMATION MANAGEMENT- Compile, reconcile and organize information including Monday morning reports, price changes and purchase journals.
Assistant Buyer Responsibilities • FINANCIAL PLANNING- Assist Buyer in development of seasonal plans, assortment plans, stock projections and stock by store analysis. • ADVERTISING- Assist Buyer in planning advertising, coordinate layouts, ad copy, samples, signs and recaps. • TEAMWORK / COMMUNICATION- Develop working relationships, communicate regularly with vendors, Distribution Center, coordinators and stores to accomplish merchandising goals.
