  5. Time-Management 101 • Tracking your Time • Useful self-assessment tool • Complete an activity log for 1-2 weeks • Do your activities reflect your priorities? • Note changes in energy levels, identify time-wasting activities, and time blocks which can be used differently

  6. Time Management 101 • To do lists • Can accompany your agenda use. • Indicate all the tasks you wish to carry out, can be daily, weekly, etc. • Prioritize considering three levels of urgency: MUST do, SHOULD do, and COULD do.

  11. Time Management 101 • Two final considerations • Reward yourself for tackling difficult tasks, settings goals and achieving them. • Are you doing too much? Is there something you can cut back on?

Time Management 101 • Create your own tentative schedule for the semester/week. • Add in your fixed commitments, times you can devote to regular study, times you would like to keep for leisure, other involvements, etc. • If you were to anticipate one area that might be a challenge- what might it be and how might you tackle that?
