Our Founder – Chairman and CEO • In 1979, as a recognized expert in real estate and community association law in South Africa, David Regenbaum retired from the law firm he had founded, moved to Houston, and founded Association Management, Inc. (AMI). • David has served in numerous capacities in the Community Associations Institute (CAI), including President of CAI National, Chairman of the Education Council, and Dean of the Management Practices faculty. • He has served on several committees including the Budget Finance committee, and the Chief Executive Officers of the Management Companies committee. He has also served as faculty in CAI's Professional Management Development program for courses covering topics including law, financial management, insurance, and management office management. • In 1985, David was inducted into CAI's Hall of Fame and was also awarded the President's Award for Outstanding Leadership and the Council "Chairman of the Year" award. • He has served as President of the Greater Houston Chapter of CAI and received the Chapter's distinguished service award for outstanding leadership and service.
Our Co-Founder – President and COO • Glenda Regenbaum is the co-founder of AMI. She has extensive experience in managing community associations and is involved in all operations of the company. • She is responsible for maintaining and continually improving AMI's high quality service in all areas as the President of the company, and she manages the multi-family division. • She has been active with the Community Association Institute on a national level including chairing the Management Company CEO Committee. • Glenda held the position of Executive Director of Holocaust Museum Houston for three and a half years and is delighted to be back at AMI. • Prior to moving to Houston, Glenda was CEO of two companies in South Africa.
