Introduction • Wind energy is the use of turbines to transform motion energy to electricity. • It is a clean renewable source of energy that benefits our environment. • This form of energy is part of the group of kinetic, motion (movement that can transport things to one place to another) • We can set our energy source in places that have a lot of wind power. A good place in Ecuador is Loja.

  7. Where and How • We can find wind energy everywhere. • If there is wind, there is this energy source • Germany is the contry that have more wind farms. They create electricity to more than 10,000 houses. • Mountains, deserts, even oceans contain wind farms • Wind turn on the rotor blades that create mechanical energy my moving them. • The shift transport the energy to the generator • And finally the generator change the mechanical energy to electricity • Some cables take the electricity to the main plants

  8. Stored and Realise • The energy is take to a power plant that store the electricity. • There are many power plants each country. • This cables transport the energy to one place to another. Is realized when we turn on light, TV, etc.

  10. Economic Impacts • This is a very hard way to get energy because it cost a lot of money and time. This can help in some ways the Government because is a way of getting energy without destroying or living world. But is also bad because this farms can take a lot of space and are very expensive. • For the costumer is affecting in a good way because is not destroying or damaging our clean air.

  11. Environmental Impacts • Wind energy affects in positive ways to our environment. It is a renewable resource that would never disappear. Also we are not damaging or air and our natural resources. • But the negative impacts are that we need a lot of space to build a wind farm and this may cause destruction of forests. The other negative thing is that many birds can dies because they could be cut by the rotor blades.

  12. Future of Wind Energy • Wind energy would be very useful in the future because this does not would damage the world. • Also because is a renewable source that would never finish.

  13. Why is it even necessary for a business to be offering your energy resource at this time? • Is necessary for a business to offer wind energy source because is a renewable resource of energy. Also because is a way of getting energy without destroying the environment and the creatures on it. Another reason of why they should offer our energy source because there is many land where you can build the turbines or wind farms. The only problem that they could have by offering is that is very expensive.

  14. How will your energy source fulfill Ecuador’s future energy needs? • This would help Ecuador because Ecuador is a place with a lot of nature and many spaces of animals and birds. Thanks to wind power this beautiful places would not be destroyed. Also this beautiful nature places are the one that bring many outside people to Ecuador and if they are destroy no more tourists would come.

Why should your company be chosen over other businesses that utilize different energy sources? • Wind energy should be chosen because is a way of getting energy without destroying our environment. Also is very easy to manage. There is many space to build wind farms and I think that the best place is the sea because know one life's on the ocean. This turbine would not kill any ocean animal.
