Image and Climate for Fundraising: · These vary based on region - Asian versus European perceptions, for example · Overall, Tech’s image is very positive in Latin America, unfocussed in Asia and not particularly strong in Europe · Georgia Tech should consider using languages other than English

Conclusions · Strong potential volunteer support exists alongside indications of individual wealth, particularly in Latin America · Tech should firm up its international image and role as one of the world’s leading technical universities · Georgia Tech should do more to assist its international and U.S. students prepare for careers that will become increasingly international in character · The long term potential for a leading technical university in international fundraising is good, and the next ten years will be critical to ensuring that Georgia Tech takes advantage of current opportunities.
