  3. 1R32 A2 673SHigh Adhesion Acrylic • Acrylic coatings have • Excellent electrical properties • Easy application • Easy repairs • Humiseal introduce 1R32 A-2 673S featuring: • Adhesion promoters for low surface energy boards • High clean solvent mixture for no-clean boards • Variants suitable for dip and selective coating • Available immediately

  4. 1R32 A2 673SHigh Adhesion Acrylic • Low surface energy can be caused by flux residues, or solder resist • Surface energy can change after wave solder or reflow • This board surface energy 34 – adhesion could be low

  7. 1B31 NS GelHigh Performance Gel • Humiseal manufacture various acrylic gels for automated needle and hand dispensing • New 1B31NS gel: • Available in 55ml cartridges for simplified dispensing • Improved solvents to maximise cartridge shelf life • Increased flexibility minimises cracking • Humiseal 1B31NS gel is available immediately

New Urethane Conformal Coatings • Urethanes are excellent coatings • Easy solvent application • Excellent chemical resistance • Low cost coatings • 1A33 NS • Solvent modified – No Toluene • Improved performance in corrosion ‘BONO’test • All other performance as for 1A33 • Pre-blends available immediately

  9. New Silicone Conformal Coatings • Silicones are: • Highly tough, flexible coatings • Good thermal shock performance • Hi temperature stability • Humiseal are introducing some new classes of Silicone product • 1C49 LV • 1C63 UV curable

  10. 1C49 LVLow Viscosity Silicon Coating • Humiseal Introduce 1C49LV: • 500 CPS formulation. • Suitable for Asymtek/PVA application. • Solvent Free formulation • Moisture cure – complete after 60 minutes • Hi temperature stability

  11. 1C63UV Curable Silicon Coating • Humiseal Introduce 1C63: • New UV curable formulation • Successful cure with standard UV ovens • Secondary Moisture Cure for shadow areas • 2000 CPS formulation. • Suitable for spray application • Hi temperature stability

New Synthetic Rubber Conformal Coatings • Synthetic rubber coating have: • Excellent flexibility • Good temperature stability • Easy, solvent based application • Humiseal introduce 1B58 • Low modulus – suitable under BGA devices • Increased flexibility • Higher temperature rating – specified to 140oC

New UV Curable Conformal Coatings • LV UV coating in development for use with Asymtek Film Coater • Product will have: • Low Viscosity ~ 65CPS • Dual cure mechanism • Improved electrical insulation • High thermal stability • Good adhesion to metal, plastic, resins • Good thermal shock performance • Hi Cure speed

  14. New UV Curable Conformal Coatings Driving Forces for Low Viscosity UV Conformal Coating Development • Speed: • High through-put coating equipment can only work with low viscosity materials • Accuracy • Film coater gives sharp edge definition, hence good accuracy

New Water-Based Conformal Coatings • New Acrylic Polyurethane hybrid coating suitable for dip coating –AR6 • Product will have: • Low Viscosity ~ 80CPS • Fast Cure – improved compared with AR1 • High chemical stability • Good compatibility with no clean processes • Already used in Japanese Automotive
