  1. 6 Tips for Managing Your Direct Messages As An Influencer As an Influencer spending time in both your DMs and your inbox is a huge part of the job. Full time Influencers are easily spending 2 hours a day commenting and answering direct messages. If this feels too daunting for you maybe having a personal brand marketingisn’t your scene. Corresponding, community, and relationship building is foundational and has to be a top priority to succeed. Regardless of knowing you SHOULD answer all your DMs it can be a lot...answering the same question over and over, trying to come up with a response to the random emoji swipe ups, running for links you’ve already shared a million times. I’m here to share time saving tips and best practices for your Instagram Direct Message efforts. 1. ANSWER INSTAGRAM DIRECT MESSAGES THROUGH FACEBOOK Responding to direct messages on your laptop through Facebook is a great way to bang out a bunch of responses all at once. If you haven’t tried it go find it in your Facebook right now by clicking Pages > The page linked to your instagram > Inbox > Instagram Direct. The pro of this is that you’ll likely be able to type faster than on your phone. You

  2. can’t start new convos but you can respond to any previous messages, search your inbox, mark messages unread and listen to audio messages! 2. ASSIGN TIME TO BE IN YOUR INBOX It’s easy to get distracted by the notification circle on your app every 5 seconds but you’ll definitely be more productive if you assign time to be on the app each day rather than hoping on and off 20 times an hour. Did you know that after we switch tasks it can take up to 20 minutes to get re-focused?! After posting is a great time to dive into DMs and make sure to be answering your comments as they roll in as well. If you’re comments are increasing rapidly due to you answering them and in turn doubling the number of comments on your post then the algorithm will rank your post higher. 3. USE THE QUICK REPLIES FEATURE ON INSTAGRAM

  3. Quick Replies basically acts the same as a keyboard shortcut. Quick Replies can be set up through the settings in the Instagram app. Basically you’d create a code word and when you type the code word a longer message would pop up. For example// Code: necklace link Quick Reply: Hey, thanks I get a ton of compliments on it! Here’s the link for ya rstyle.me/-fha729 4. SEND A WELCOME DM TO NEW FOLLOWERS As an Instagram Influencer sending a personal, albeit, automated message to new followers can go a long way. Something that just says “hey, what’s up, thanks for the follow. This is what I share about. Any questions?” Is a great way to start the convo. PLUS, If you’ve DM’d with someone your content is also more likely to show up at the top of their feed #winningggg.

  4. I’d suggest creating a Quick Reply shortcut for your welcome message. You might say something like. Source: https://www.johannaadriaansen.com/my-blog/5-tips-for-managing-your- direct-messages-as-an-influencer-best-practices-to-grow-your-engagement
