Bublewicz: Impressive Compensations John J. Bublewicz was born and raised in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. He has resided in Mercer County all of his life and has dedicated his professional life to serving the local community. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Trenton State College, he spent five years working in front line management for United States Steel Corporation at its Fairless Works steel mill. He returned to school to obtain a law degree, studying at Nova University, Seton Hall University and Rutgers University Law Schools, successfully passing both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar examinations in 1987.

In addition, he also offers a wide range of services including residential real estate transactions, estate planning (Last Will and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Declarations and Guardianships), municipal court matters, as well as selected miscellaneous matters requiring a lawyer who is comfortable in the court room litigating.   John J. Bublewicz has litigated cases throughout the entire State of New Jersey and has appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Superior Court Appellate Division, and routinely appears in the New Jersey Superior Court in both bench and jury trials. He also is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.   John J. Bublewicz is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Association of Trial Lawyers of New Jersey, the Mercer County Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He enjoys pleading his client’s case in the courtroom, as well as negotiating out of court resolutions at mediation and/or arbitration. 3. Accomplishments   During his legal career, one of the more significant accomplishments that John J. Bublewicz has achieved was the creation of insurance coverage for small businesses in the sexual harassment area in the case of Schmidt v. Smith. In that case, a very large insurance company, refused to defend one of Mr. Bublewicz’s small business clients. After seven years of litigation culminating in argument before the New Jersey Supreme Court, a judgement of coverage was issued, awarding his client the coverage it deserved from a stubborn insurance company. This changed the existing law in New Jersey for many small businesses that needed the protection they paid for and deserved.   Unafraid of tough challenges, Mr. Bublewicz took on a large German tool manufacturer under New Jersey’s Product Liability Act representing an injured client in the case of Migliaccio v. Bosch. An iron worker injured his wrist while operating a hammer drill manufactured by defendant Bosch. The drill had an arm that had been removed by the general contractor. Bosch manufacturing company finally agreed to settle the case before jury selection, paying a substantial sum to avoid a trial. More importantly, the manufacturer changed the design of the drill so that a safety toggle switch prevents its use without the arm.   Other successful recoveries or jury verdicts include cases against:   Builder blocks site triangle at intersection causing auto accident ($450,000.00 recovery). Doctor overprescribes medication to a patient ($300,000 recovery). A drunk driver that caused an automobile accident ($250,000 recovery). A pharmacy that filled the wrong prescription and gave a young client the wrong medication ($180,000.00 recovery). The manufacturer of a facial product that failed to warn of the consequences of allergic reactions to one of it’s products ($150,000.00 recovery). The installers of a faulty door closer which slammed shut on an senior citizen ($150,000.00 recovery). A maintenance company of an automatic door closer at a local supermarket for the malfunction of one of its doors that caused injury ($90,000.00 recovery).
