Let’s start with Julie first. Can you hear me. Julie? Julie: Yes, Sean, I can hear you. Sean: Can you tell us what it’s like living on the Gemini One? Julie: The Gemini One is wonderful. It’s not a lot different than living on earth, really. We have entertainment, shopping and lots of things to keep us busy in Gemini City, where I live. 49. Additional Listening A: Is your city a historical place? B: Not really. 200 years ago, it was just a small insignificant village. A: How did it grow into such a large place? B: Large deposits of coal were found nearby and so many industries located themselves here. The village quickly grew into a key industrial centre. A: As the city grew, it must have absorbed many villages nearby. B: Yes, it did. The names of those villages survive as the names of parts of the city. A: I see. Are there any buildings more than 200 years old in your city?
