DataEntryof Candidate wisenomination filedgenesys.nic.inSoftware • Candidate wise Nomination data entry from in the genesys.nic.in nominationdate will be started • NominationwiseDataentryinFormA02is tobedonebyROAC • CEO/DEO/ROusernameandpasswordlistis tobecollectedfromCEOoffice. Ifcandidatesubmitsmultiplenominationsand • affidavits, ROhavetobeentered all Nnomination. 2

  3. • DEO will be resetting the pwd to original for RO user. CEO will reset pwd for DEO/PC user. D03/P03, • Candidate Affidavit and counter affidavit,EPIC%data byROwithin2daysof entryisbecompleted lastdayofwithdrawal. • CEO/DEO level user should continuously monitordataentryworkingenesys.nic.in • Rejected and withdrawn candidates should be marked after “Date for scrutiny of Nominations”and“Lastdateforwithdrawalof candidatures” 3

Candidate Affidavit • All the pages of candidate Affidavit should be scanned and Integrated in single .PDF file • File size should be less than 1.5 MB Counter Affidavit If anyone furnishes information countering the statements made by any candidate in his affidavit by means of a duly sworn affidavit".   5. • New Serial no should be give to final contesting candidates. Preference order should State be First -Sr No to National Second- Third Registered Unrecognized and thenIndependentcandidates.- • After all data entry is done RO will be finalisedthedatainA01form • NOTA finalize After2 will be automatically added after buttonispressed daysofLastdayofwithdrawal,CEO • user needs to update/finalise the data in genesys.nic.in 4

  6. • Signed Certificate certifying the correctness of dataentryingenesys.nic.inisrequiredfromCEO • Same data will be used in Counting application forTrendsandResultDissemination. • CEO should monitor all the reports and timely completionofcorrectdataentryistobeensured

Checklistof IT Infrastructureat the Counting Centres • Operating System : Windows 2007 or Above / Antivirus S/w • One computer (Preferably Core 2 Duo and higher configuration) with power backup • Install .NET Framework 3.5 - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “Election Commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using ROAC/DEO/CEO username and password • Install Crystal Reports Runtime - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “Download Manager Page (For Officers)” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using the original RO-AC/DEO/CEO username and original password which is also used for downloading the EVM Data Entry application • Internet broadband connection

  10. 1. Download Counting Application from http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “Download Manager Page (For Officers)” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/2. Login using Genesys original RO-AC/DEO/CEO username and original password sent to you all first time by CEO office( Not the changed password)3. Under the heading “Counting Application ”, Click on “Trends and Result Dissemination Application for General Election to State Assembly Election” link to download. Click Here

  11. To Install double click the installer file “Counting Assembly Election.exe”- Open Application from(A Shortcut will also be created automatically in Desktop)All Programs->Counting Assembly Elections->Counting.exe

  12. Login Screen: It begins with validation page where the credentials entered by the RO-AC/DEO/CEO. You can open the manual by clicking on User Manuals link

  13. If wrong Username/password is entered, then user has to input case sensitive text from the image along with username and password.

  14. The application opens main page to display the following options under Data Entry Form 1 Enter Round Schedule2 Counting Data entry form 3 Postal Ballot data entry form4 Result DeclarationReports for monitoring purpose are available only at DEO/CEO level

  15. 1. Enter Round ScheduleInvoked from: - Login ->Data entry Form->Enter Round ScheduleEntering the scheduled number of rounds of the Assembly Constituency.

  16. 2. Counting Data entry formInvoked from: - login ->Data Entry Form->Counting Data Entry(i.) Cumulative Round wise votes should be entered at each counting center.

  17. 3 Postal Ballot data entry form Invoked from: - Login>Data Entry Form->Postal Ballot Data Entry(i) RO has to enter the postal ballot votes for each candidate for AC and click on Finalise button. (ii) Until or unless postal ballot is not finalized, Result cannot be declared .

  18. 4 Result Declaration Invoked from: - Login>Counting Data Entry->Result Declared. Result Declared button is enabled only after postal ballots for your AC is finalized

  19. List of ACs – Result Not Declared and Postal Ballot not Finalised

  20. Number of ACs for which Result is Not declared

  21. Invoked from: - Login ReportsList of ACs – Postal Ballot is not yet FinalizedThis report only contains the AC details where postal ballot is not yet finalized.

  22. AC wise Candidate Vote Details

  23. Audit LogThis report contains logged in user name , system IP Address, Login date and Time, Login Status and Logout date and time.

Summary • The application opens main page to display the following options under Data Entry Form 1 Enter Round Schedule2 Counting Data entry form 3 Postal Ballot data entry form4 Result Declaration Reports for monitoring purpose are available only at DEO/CEO level • RO AC/DEO/CEO will be allowed to login Trends and Result Dissemination Counting Application from 08:00 am onwards
