  2. Melbourne's Top Music Entertainment Experience. The Nightcats Duo Band, are a great entertainment unit that will ensure your next function is a total success. They have gone through an exhaustive process of selecting the very best chart busting songs over the past four decades into a package of tunes that will excite and inspire you to dance and have fun.

The members of the band, Andrew Ioannou and Ian Mitchell are experienced and talented musician/entertainers who have the unique ability to adjust the ambience of their music to suit what ever the occasion may require. The Nightcats' performances have been enjoyed by corporate organizations, playing top Melbourne venues from Crown Casino to the Regency Hotel. They have pleased audiences at a long list of city and country RSL clubs, hotels and restaurants and private functions. As well as providing a great night of live music, the Nightcats, also offer a stunning floor show featuring the great "Jake & Elwood," Blues Brothers Tribute show. This can be added to a total package or booked separately.

  4. Andrew Loannou- Lead Guitar - Vocals - MC. He has performed in numerous bands over the years. Much of his time was spent in "Classic Rock," a long lasting successful covers band that were a regular act in all of Melbourne's notable venues in the 70's, 80's and 90's playing along side great Assuie bands such as Madder Lake. As well as playing in bands, Andrew is a composer who has produced music for festivals and has written original songs such as Lennon's Café (available for viewing on Youtube.) His gift in this area becomes apparent when you listen to the high quality of the backing tracks used by the Nightcats. Andrew has also worked as a soloist providing Spanish and Classical style guitar for sophisticated restaurants and theme nights. As well as this he has been part of musical theatre productions such as Fiddler on the Roof, both performing and arranging. His prowess on the guitar is matched by his strong and wide ranging vocal abilities.

  5. LanMitchell - Rhythm Guitar - Vocals - MC. Ian started playing around Melbourne's well known coffee shops such as The Green Man and the Outpost Inn and then formed popular cover bands Sanity and The Poorboys playing all of the main pub venues in Melbourne and Geelong in the 70's & 80's. As a front man to those bands he has developed an engaging presence that connects the music to the event. He has thrilled audiences at venues such as Crown Casino and corporate events in top hotels to local RSL clubs and pubs. He has an uncanny ability to "read a crowd" and adjust the performance to extract the best response for the occasion. Originally a bass guitarist, his acoustic guitar work provides a great foundation for any band. Ian's stage presence, vocal abilities and guitar work are a perfect match to compliment Andrew's talents.
