The Rules • Script must be completely memorized. • Time limit • Duet Acting: 12 minutes, introduction included • Duo Interp: 10 minutes, introduction included • Piece must be published, printed • Props/Costumes • Duet – 2 chairs only, no costumes • Duo Acting – No props, no costumes • Eye Contact • Duet Acting – Natural eye contact • Duo Acting – Off stage focus only

  4. The Preparation • Read and select your piece. • Analyze the selection • Cut and block the piece • Time your piece • Memorize • Prepare introduction • Time your piece • Practice
