How To Relate To Others • Titus 3:1-4; • [1] Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, • [2] To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. • [3] For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. • [4] But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
How To Relate To Others • I. How we should relate to those around us: • A. Obey the powers that be;
How To Relate To Others • Romans 13: 1-4; • [1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. • [2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. • [3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: • [4] For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

These things are good and profitable unto men.

How To Relate To God • II. How we should relate to God: • A. Salvation is not by works; • B. Salvation by Grace; • C. Once Saved Good Works are profitable to maintain! • Note: We cannot get saved or maintain our salvation by Good Works, yet we can maintain our Christian Life by Good Works.
How To Relate To God • Who insures or underwrites our Salvation? • John 3: 15-17; • [15] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
